* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Bayou Nezpique near Basile.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Moderate flood threat downstream including
  a few residences near jennings, mermentau, and silverwood.
  Operations at silverwood shipyard could be affected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 23.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Monday was 23.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow evening and continue falling to 12.6 feet
    Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Kinder.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, If gage reading at Kinder reaches 18 feet,
  flooding begins to cut off some of the roads around Topsy in
  Northwest Jefferson Davis Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 18.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Monday was 19.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 12.9 feet
    Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will
  occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 4.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Monday was 4.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will remain around 4.5 feet tonight then
    begin a slow fall. It is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday evening and continue falling to 3.8 feet Saturday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

  homes and camps.

  - At 7:35 PM CDT Monday the stage was 5.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:35 PM CDT Monday was 5.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is cresting and is expected to fall to
    3.9 feet Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 2.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora,
  including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu
  and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of
  water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of
  forested areas near the river will also occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 13.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Monday was 14.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 12.3 feet
    Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
