* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mermentau River near Mermentau.

* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will
  occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 4.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 AM CDT Friday was 4.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 4.3
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Minor marshland flooding occurs. Flooding
  also begins on River Road in north Lake Charles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 3.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
    maximum value of 4.0 feet this afternoon.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:35 AM CDT Friday was 4.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 2.0 feet
    Wednesday morning.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas
  near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 25.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Friday was 25.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 20.2 feet
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 70.0 feet, Flooding can be expected around Barlow
  Lake and Brushy Lake with some roads being cutoff and some of the
  lowest properties near the river begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 69.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CDT Friday was 69.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 69.2 feet.
  - Flood stage is 68.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Friday was 13.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0
    feet this afternoon.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Widespread flooding, especially in
  Northwest Orange County from Lake View downstream to the Saltwater
  Barrier. Several homes and camps are flooded or threatend.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 8.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 AM CDT Friday was 8.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 5.0 feet
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur. The
  lowest homes between Deweyville and the river begin to flood,
  especially in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections. Low-lying
  roads and a few homes in Southwestern Beauregard Parish have some
  flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 25.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Friday was 26.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 25.1 feet
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
