...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA out 20 NM...
Waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA from 20 to 60 NM...

At 138 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Vermilion 161,
or 42 nm south of White Lake, moving east at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Vermilion 78, Vermilion 67, Vermilion 131, Vermilion 164, Vermilion
191, Vermilion 119, Vermilion 161, Vermilion 171, East Cameron 160,
Vermilion 149, Vermilion 148, and East Cameron 109.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
