The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX out 20 NM...
  Waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 1003 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near The Mouth Of The Sabine River to near High
  Island 63, moving south at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  High Island 136, High Island 22, High Island 199, High Island 167,
  High Island 110, High Island 52, High Island 170, High Island 129,
  High Island 5, High Island 138, and High Island 116.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, small hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with these storms.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
