* Special Marine Warning for...
  Atchafalaya and East Cote Blanche Bays...
  Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA
  out 20 NM...
  Vermilion and West Cote Blanche Bays...

* Until midnight CDT.

* At 1102 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 32 nm north of West Cote Blanche Bay to 13 nm north
  of Vermilion Bay to near White Lake, moving southeast at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Vermilion Bay, Marsh Island, West Cote Blanche Bay, and Atchafalaya
  Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts to 40 knots, small hail, high waves, dangerous lightning,
and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
