...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT TYLER AND NORTHWESTERN JASPER
COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM CDT...

At 452 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, or 9 miles southwest of
Woodville, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Woodville, Colmesneil, Chester, Warren, Town Bluff, Rockland,
Spurger, Ivanhoe, and Hillister.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern
Texas.
