...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN CAMERON AND VERMILION
PARISHES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 341 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles south of Klondike to 27 miles south of
Johnsons Bayou. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cameron, Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge, Rockefeller Wildlife
Range, Freshwater City, Forked Island, Pecan Island, Grand Chenier,
Intracoastal City, Esther, Lowry, Creole, Gibbstown, Henry, Florence
Landing, and Rutherford Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
south central and southwestern Louisiana.
