...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT
FOR NORTHERN IBERIA...NORTHWESTERN ST. MARY AND CENTRAL ST. MARTIN
PARISHES...

At 1148 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles southwest of Bayou Sorrel to Glencoe to near
Cypremort Point, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Jeanerette, Cypremort Point, Baldwin, Sorrel, Glencoe, Lake
Fausse Pointe, Charenton, Lydia, and Weeks Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
