...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN LAFAYETTE...SOUTHEASTERN AVOYELLES...NORTHWESTERN
ST. MARTIN AND EASTERN ST. LANDRY PARISHES...
At 1111 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Bayou Current to Krotz Springs to Henderson,
moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Catahoula, Breaux Bridge, Krotz Springs, Arnaudville,
Melville, Palmetto, Bayou Current, Henderson, Butte La Rose, Cecilia,
Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge, and Atchafalaya Welcome Center.
