...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN IBERIA...ST. MARY AND SOUTHEASTERN ST. MARTIN
PARISHES...

At 1031 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Paincourtville, or near Napoleonville, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Morgan City, Franklin, Patterson, Jeanerette, Berwick, Bayou Vista,
Stephensville, Burns Point, Belle River, Baldwin, Ellerslie,
Patterson Memorial Airport, Glencoe, Sorrel, Amelia, Lake Fausse
Pointe, Charenton, Pierre Part, and Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for south
central Louisiana.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
