FOR NORTHWESTERN LAFAYETTE...EASTERN ACADIA AND NORTHERN VERMILION
PARISHES...

At 406 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kaplan, moving
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Crowley, Scott, Rayne, Duson, Mowata, Branch, Richard,
Mire, Indian Bayou, Ridge, and Maxie.
