Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A ridge averaging 29.85 inches resides over Lake Erie before a cold front sweeps eastward across the lake late Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night. Behind the front, a ridge averaging 29.90 inches builds eastward across Lake Erie through Friday. A warm front should sweep generally northward across Lake Erie Friday night before a cold front sweeps eastward across the lake Saturday. Behind the cold front, a weak and narrow ridge averaging 29.85 inches should build from the west Saturday night. On Sunday, a warm front should approach Lake Erie from near the Lower and Middle Ohio Valley as a low moves northeastward from near the central Great Plains toward the southwestern Great Lakes and deepens to 29.30 inches.
