A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

  Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River out 20 nm...
  Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20
  NM...

At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and
small hail. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along
a line extending from 12 nm southwest of Chandeleur Sound to 13 nm
west of Breton Sound, moving east at 10 knots.

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves, small hail and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should
seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.
