...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL ST.
JOHN THE BAPTIST, SOUTHWESTERN ST. CHARLES AND NORTH CENTRAL
LAFOURCHE PARISHES THROUGH 415 PM CDT
...

At 323 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Des Allemands, or 10 miles southwest of Hahnville. This thunderstorm
was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bayou Gauche, Paradis, Des Allemands, Boutte, and Luling.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
