...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN
TANGIPAHOA PARISH THROUGH 1245 PM CDT
...

At 1155 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Madisonville, or 12 miles southwest of Covington,
moving southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ponchatoula and W Lk Pontchartrain Buoy.

This includes Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 19 and
27.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
