...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
ASCENSION, NORTHWESTERN LIVINGSTON AND SOUTH CENTRAL EAST BATON ROUGE
PARISHES THROUGH 415 PM CDT
...

At 340 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Inniswold, or over Oak Hills Place, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Oak Hills Place, Walker, Livingston,
French Settlement, Port Vincent, Westminster, Old Jefferson,
Inniswold, Village St. George, Shenandoah, and Gardere.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 157 and 170.
 Interstate 12 between mile markers 1 and 26.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
