719 WGUS83 KLMK 222200 FLSLMK Flood Advisory National Weather Service Louisville KY 500 PM CDT Wed May 22 2024 KYC003-009-169-171-230100- /O.NEW.KLMK.FA.Y.0028.240522T2200Z-240523T0100Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Allen KY-Barren KY-Metcalfe KY-Monroe KY- 500 PM CDT Wed May 22 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the following counties, Allen, Barren, Metcalfe and Monroe. * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
