At 246 PM EDT/146 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles north of Liberty
to Columbia to 6 miles southeast of Scottsville. Movement was east at
45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Liberty, Columbia, Stanford, Tompkinsville, Albany, Jamestown,
Burkesville, Leslie, Russell Springs, and Crab Orchard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

south central and central Kentucky.
