The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Western Monroe County in south central Kentucky...
  Allen County in south central Kentucky...
  Southeastern Warren County in south central Kentucky...
  Southern Barren County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 1045 AM CDT.

* At 1010 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 miles southeast of Mount Victor to 6 miles
  northwest of Westmoreland, moving east at 70 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Glasgow, Scottsville, Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Gum Tree, Haywood,
  Austin, Settle, Raley Ford, and Emberton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for south central
Kentucky.
