...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY...

At 714 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles northwest of Madison to 12 miles northeast of
Scottsburg, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Smyrna, Kent, Dupont, Wakefield, Volga, and Five Points.

Trees were reported down with these storms as they passed through
Scott County.
