FOR CENTRAL GARRARD...SOUTHERN JESSAMINE...NORTHEASTERN BOYLE AND
WESTERN MADISON COUNTIES...
At 1256 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Nicholasville, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Richmond, Nicholasville, Mccreary, Berea, Wilmore, Round Hill,
Caleast, Peytontown, Redhouse, and Marksbury.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT for central
Kentucky.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
