Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A weak 29.9 moisture starved cold front will fade as it drops across the area today. A 30.0 area of high pressure along the Carolinas will hold firm along the coast through Tuesday then drift out to sea Tuesday night. A 29.2 inch low near Lake Superior Wednesday morning will send a cold front across the lake Wednesday night into Thursday. A 30.0 inch high over the Upper Mississippi valley on Thursday will build across the Great Lakes region Thursday night and Friday.
