Open Lake Forecast for Lake Ontario

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch high over the Upper Great Lakes will
build east across the Lower Great Lakes today. A 29.5 inch low
near Lake Superior tonight will weaken as it slides across
Southern Ontario Saturday. A 29.9 inch high will then build in
Saturday night and remain over the lake through Sunday. A 29.3
inch low will then track from Lake Michigan to central Quebec
Sunday night through Tuesday, with its warm front crossing the
lake Monday, and its trailing cold front then following suit
Monday night.

.THIS AFTERNOON...West winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east. Waves
2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers in the
morning, then showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms in
the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 knots or less becoming
northwest. A chance of showers in the evening. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east. Showers
likely with a chance of thunderstorms Sunday night. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots. Occasional showers with a chance of thunderstorms.
Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 3 to 5 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west. A chance
of showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet.

Showers likely in the evening, then a chance of showers

.MONDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest.
