This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Limited Hail Risk...up to half dollar size.
     Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
     Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Additional scattered thunderstorms, some of which may be severe,
are likely through the mid to late evening. Large hail is the
primary severe threat, with isolated damaging wind gusts also
possible. The tornado threat is low. Heavy downpours may cause
localized ponding or minor flooding on some roads.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Sunday...
  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk with an:
    Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
    Limited Flooding Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
  Limited PM Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Additional waves of thunderstorms are likely on Sunday into
Sunday evening, some of which may be severe in the afternoon and
early evening. Large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes may all
be possible.

Any focused corridors of heavy rainfall from thunderstorms on
Sunday may result in localized flooding.

While many dry hours can be expected on Monday and Tuesday,
widely scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms will be
possible in the mid afternoon through early evening both days.

  Spotter reports may be needed through this evening.
