SERVICE CHANGE NOTICE

Subject: Change to flood impact categories on the West Branch DuPage
River in DuPage County, Illinois

Effective July 1, 2024, flood impact categories will change for West
Branch DuPage River at Warrenville (NWS identifier WRNI2). These
changes were coordinated with representatives from the city of
Warrenville, DuPage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergence
Management, and DuPage County Stormwater Management.

Action Stage will remain unchanged at 11.0, minor flood stage will
change from 11.5 feet to 12.5 feet, moderate flood stage will remain
unchanged at 14.5, and major flood stage will remain unchanged at
17.5. River forecasts will continue to be issued when this location
has reached, or is expected to reach, action stage.

NOAA/NWS Chicago web page at weather.gov/chicago as well as the
National Water Prediction Service (NWPS) web page at water.noaa.gov.
