...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN KANKAKEE...NORTHEASTERN
IROQUOIS...NEWTON AND NORTHWESTERN BENTON COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 AM
CDT/1145 AM EDT/...

At 955 AM CDT/1055 AM EDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Ashkum to near
Stockland. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kankakee, Bradley, Manteno, Watseka, Momence, Kentland, Clifton,
Morocco, St. Anne, Sheldon, Chebanse, Goodland, Brook, Ashkum, Aroma
Park, Hopkins Park, Martinton, Earl Park, Stockland, Crescent City,
Sun River Terrace, Beaverville, Woodland, Donovan, and Sammons Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
