...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MCHENRY AND
NORTHEASTERN BOONE COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1141 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Harvard, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Harvard and Chemung.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for north
central and northeastern Illinois.
