  McHenry County in northeastern Illinois...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 610 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Hebron to near Marengo, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Waukegan, Buffalo Grove, Crystal Lake, North Chicago, Gurnee,
  Mundelein, Algonquin, Highland Park, Lake in the Hills, Round Lake
  Beach, McHenry, Vernon Hills, Woodstock, Zion, Huntley, Grayslake,
  Libertyville, Lake Zurich, Lake Forest, Round Lake, Antioch,
  Wauconda, Fox Lake, Barrington, and Lake Villa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
