...Discussion from Monterey...

A cooling trend will begin on Wednesday, with above average interior
temperatures remaining through Thursday. Daytime humidities will
start to increase through the week with minimum RH values in the
interior rising to 30 to 45 percent. Onshore flow will develop
across the region with gusty winds along the coast, at the highest
peaks, and through the gaps and passes.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

An onshore flow pattern will persist across the area through the
weekend. Moderate onshore flow will persist through Wednesday with
areas of night and morning low clouds and fog across the coasts and
coastal plain. From Wednesday night through the weekend, the onshore
flow will strengthen. This will bring a deeper marine inversion to
the area with low clouds and fog pushing into the coastal slopes
each night with slower clearing to the coast each afternoon.
Temperatures will peak on Wednesday then exhibit a cooling trend
through Saturday, before rebounding a bit on Sunday. West of the
mountains, relative humidity will remain at moderate to high levels
with low to moderate humidity across interior sections. The onshore
flow will continue to generate gusty southwesterly winds each
afternoon and evening across interior sections with the strongest
winds likely Friday and Saturday.
