...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the
  following counties, Saint Charles and northwestern Saint Louis.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    O`Fallon, St. Charles, St. Peters, Florissant, Chesterfield,
    Wildwood, Wentzville, Maryland Heights, Hazelwood, Lake St.
    Louis, Bridgeton, Dardenne Prairie, Weldon Spring,
    Cottleville, St. Paul, New Melle, Josephville, Portage Des
    Sioux, Augusta and Weldon Spring Heights.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
