...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Missouri, including the following
  counties, southeastern Boone and central Callaway.

* WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 639 AM CDT, Emergency manager reported 5 inches of moving
    water over the roadway at South Rangeline Road near New Salem
    Road. Heavy rainfall from thunderstorms will cause urban and
    small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fulton, Ashland, Columbia Regional Airport, New Bloomfield,
    Hartsburg, Carrington, Guthrie and Reform.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
