.DISCUSSION...
Rain will exit the region slowly from west to east today, though
clouds will remain in place for most of the day and keep
temperatures below-normal. The lower temperatures will bolster RH
values and inhibit deep mixing across the region. A few
thunderstorms will also threaten the St. Louis metropolitan area
and areas south/east this afternoon. Temperatures return to the
mid-80s by Sunday, with largely-dry conditions and better mixing
areawide. Warm weather stays in place until late Wednesday, with
multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms possible in between.
