This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

An upper level disturbance moving across New Mexico today and across
the Texas Panhandle and South Plains region tonight will bring
scattered to numerous thunderstorms to the South Plains area mainly
during this afternoon and tonight. Despite cool temperatures at the
surface, elevated instability will be sufficient for some
thunderstorms to potentially become strong to severe mainly across
areas along and south of a Morton to Lubbock to Guthrie line. Large
hail to the size of ping pong balls will be the main threat, although
isolated wind gusts to 60 mph will also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening.
