A few thunderstorms may return to the far southeastern Rolling Plains this afternoon and evening. Some storms could be severe, with large hail being the primary hazard up to two inches in diameter. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Thunderstorms are possible across the far eastern Rolling Plains on Thursday afternoon. A few storms may become severe with large hail and damaging winds gusts the primary threats. Elevated to critical fire weather conditions are forecast to develop west of the Interstate 27 corridor on Thursday afternoon. Elevated fire weather conditions will be possible across portions of the South Plains this weekend. $$
