SOUTHWESTERN FLOYD...CROSBY AND SOUTHEASTERN HALE COUNTIES... At 1114 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southwest of Crosbyton, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...West Texas Mesonet. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Lubbock, Slaton, Crosbyton, White River Lake, Idalou, Ralls, Petersburg, Lorenzo, Ransom Canyon, Kalgary, Cone, Caprock, Southland, and Buffalo Springs. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
