...A FRONT APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD...
  Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD...
  Chester River to Queenstown MD...
  Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor...

At 340 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots. This front was located along a
line extending from 21 nm northwest of Middle River to 14 nm west of
Back River to 13 nm west of Annapolis, moving east at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Pinehurst, Turkey Point, North Point State Park, Fort Smallwood Park,
Hart Miller Island, Magothy River, Rock Hall, Dobbins Island, Gibson
Island, Bodkin Point, Tolchester Beach, Pooles Island, Spesutie
Island, Love Point, Gunpowder River, Sandy Point State Park,
Baltimore Light, Northeast River, Sevenfoot Knoll, and Aberdeen
Proving Ground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This front will likely produce winds to around 30 knots, and could
pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine warning may
eventually be required when this front reaches the nearshore waters.
Boaters should consider heading for shore before this front arrives.
