Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD...

At 200 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms with a history of producing gale-
force winds were located along a line extending from 25 nm northwest
of Key Bridge to 26 nm northwest of Mason Neck State Park to 26 nm
northwest of Quantico to 38 nm west of Aquia Creek, moving east at
25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Observed wind.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
         suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

  Gunston Hall, Leesylvania State Park, Alexandria, Reagan National

  Fort Hunt, Fort Washington, Smallwood State Park, Indian Head,
  Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and National Harbor around 300 PM EDT.
  Brent Point around 305 PM EDT.
  Potomac Creek around 310 PM EDT.
  Fairview Beach around 315 PM EDT.
  Maryland Point around 320 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Widewater.
