...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL BREWSTER COUNTY...
At 635 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles southwest
of Boquillas Canyon, or 19 miles south of Panther Junction, moving
east at 25 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR PARTS OF BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK.
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of south
central Brewster County.
