...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM CDT
FOR EASTERN ANDREWS...SOUTHWESTERN BORDEN...MARTIN...WESTERN HOWARD
AND SOUTHERN DAWSON COUNTIES...

At 1258 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Luther to 8 miles east of Andrews, moving east at
30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Tarzan Mesonet reported a 61 MPH wind gust at 1245 AM CDT.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Big Spring, Ackerly, Stanton, Lomax, Lenorah, Tarzan, Sparenberg,
Patricia, Courtney, Tenmile, Big Spring McMahon-Wrinkle Airpark,
Knott, Vealmoor, Elbow, Stanton Municipal Aiport, and Klondike.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 151 and 177.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
