The Flood Advisory is cancelled for a portion of West Tennessee,
including the following areas, Hardin and McNairy.

Urban and small stream flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of North Mississippi, including the following
  counties, Alcorn, Prentiss and Tishomingo.

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
  occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1018 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Corinth, Iuka, J P Coleman State Park, Burnsville, Glen,
    Leedy, Hinkle, Pineflat, Theo, Farmington, Guys, Rienzi,
    Kossuth, Strickland, Jobes, Biggersville, Kendrick,
    Allentown, Holts Spur and Doskie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
