...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN DESOTO...
NORTHEASTERN TUNICA AND WESTERN TATE COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM CDT...

At 159 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Phillipp, or 16 miles southwest of Hernando, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hernando, Senatobia, Coldwater, Tunica, Phillipp, Strayhorn, Eudora,
North Tunica, Arkabutla, Robinsonville, Little Texas, Trinity,
Savage, Frees Corners, Commerce, Austin, Bright, Prichard, Banks, and
Bowdre.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...and northwestern Mississippi.
