...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DESOTO...WEST
CENTRAL MARSHALL AND EASTERN TATE COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM CDT...

At 224 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Independence, or 9 miles northeast of Senatobia, moving east at 55
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Senatobia, Coldwater, Barr, Independence, Marianna, Wakefield,
Cockrum, Aiken, Crossroad, Tyro, Watson, Bright, Chulahoma,
Poagville, Bluff, Looxahoma, Lurline, Alphaba, Wyatte, and New
Garden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for northwestern
Mississippi. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 800 AM CDT
for northwestern Mississippi.
