The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for west
Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 800 AM CDT
for northeastern Mississippi.

FOR TISHOMINGO...NORTHERN PRENTISS...EASTERN ALCORN...SOUTH CENTRAL
HENDERSON...HARDIN AND SOUTHERN DECATUR COUNTIES...
At 211 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over St. Florian, or
near Florence, moving east at 80 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Corinth, Booneville, Savannah, Iuka, Pickwick Landing State Park, J P
Coleman State Park, Tishomingo State Park, Adamsville, Belmont,
Burnsville, Jumpertown, Glen, Sardis, Tishomingo, Pickwick Dam,
Thrashers, Midway, Morris Chapel, Shiloh, and Walnut Grove.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for west
Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 800 AM CDT
for northeastern Mississippi.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
