.Discussion...
Most areas will remain dry today as high pressure continues to
dominate the weather pattern across the region. Winds will continue
to remain rather light today which will allow the east and west
coast sea breezes to push inland. These winds will gradually become
more southerly heading into the upcoming weekend. Isolated showers
and thunderstorms will be possible on Saturday afternoon with the
highest chances remaining over the interior and east coast. Maximum
dispersion values this afternoon will be generally good across most
areas. The exception to this will be along the immediate coasts
where maximum dispersion values will remain in the fair category.
Min RH values today will be in the middle 30 percent range over the
interior.
Widespread fog development is not expected.
