Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
221 PM PDT Tue May 28 2024

.DISCUSSION...A small chance for thunderstorms exists today, and
lightning would be the main threat for any storms that happen to
develop. If a storm develops, the eastside across mainly Lake and
Modoc counties would see these chances this afternoon/evening.
A drying trend starts tomorrow with the eastside forecast to have
RH values bottoming out around 20% or less basically everyday in
the current forecast. Thursday and Friday are both the overall
"driest" days in the forecast with Friday being the warmest day
overall across the area. Fortunately, we are not seeing any truly
windy days in the forecast, but Saturday will be on the breezy
side of things.
