S of Cape Lookout NC to Surf City NC out to 20 nm...

At 109 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New River
Inlet, moving northeast at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Ar342, Bogue Inlet, The Vicinity Of Emerald Isle Bridge, Emerald
Isle, and New River Inlet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
