  Alligator River...
  Croatan and Roanoke Sounds...
  Pamlico Sound...

* Until 430 AM EDT.

* At 336 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from The Center Of The Albemarle Sound to near The
  Vicinity Of Frying Pan to 6 nm south of The Vicinity Of Gum Neck,
  moving east at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, The Center Of The Albemarle Sound,
  The Center Of Croatan Sound, The Vicinity Of Frying Pan, Pea Island
  National Wildlife Refuge, Alligator River Bridge, Nags Head, The
  Vicinity Of Mashoes, The Vicinity Of Gum Neck, The Center Of
  Roanoke Sound, Duck, and The Mouth Of The Alligator River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
