...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LENOIR AND
NORTHEASTERN DUPLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 741 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Beautancus, or 7 miles southeast of Mount Olive. This thunderstorm
was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Beautancus and Albertson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
