* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Jones County in eastern North Carolina...
  South central Lenoir County in eastern North Carolina...
  West central Craven County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 220 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pleasant
  Hill, or 14 miles south of Kinston, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Phillips Crossroads, Comfort, Pleasant Hill, Cove City, and
  Trenton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
