...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT
FOR GREEN...COLUMBIA...DANE AND EASTERN SAUK COUNTIES...

At 722 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Baraboo to near Monticello, moving northeast at
40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Madison, Sun Prairie, Fitchburg, Middleton, Stoughton, Waunakee,
Baraboo, Monroe, Verona, Portage, Oregon, McFarland, Monona, Mount
Horeb, Windsor, Prairie Du Sac, Sauk City, Wisconsin Dells, Lake
Wisconsin, and Deforest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for south
central Wisconsin.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
